You read that right: eight balanced armatures, per earbud. True to its name, the BA8 IEM from TRN boasts an unprecedented array of balanced armatures to precisely articulate the entire frequency spectrum. In each earbud, you’ll find three custom 30095s, two custom 29689s, two custom 50060s, and one 22955 balanced armature. Despite the BA8’s compact size, its numerous drivers are optimally arranged to reduce crossover and distortion—giving each frequency room to shine, with no unwanted noise. For durability, aesthetic appeal, and a comfortable fit, the BA8 features custom shells CNC machined from aerospace-grade magnesium and varnished with multi-layered ceramic coating.
