Okay, so I have a 7600k and am going to upgrade to a phanteks p400s I'm debating on going for the cheaper dark rock pro 3, or this/ the 360. Thoughts? Is this overkill? Should I just save my money?

tyler555This is overkill for a 7600k, even with some overclocking, though you might still want to consider it since it would allow you to really let the fans run slowly and quietly without compromising on thermals, though the Dark Rock Pro 3 is plenty enough for that CPU. Just check the TDP of whatever cooler and CPU you want to cool and make sure that the cooler has a higher thermal capacity than the CPU can output heat.
