Damascus steel in a chef knife? This inexpensively? I'm a little skeptical.

Damn, it is really exciting to see Aus-10 showing up so often, as it seems like a pretty excellent stainless. I worry about the heat treat though. 58 is kinda soft for a kitchen knife whereas 62 is just about right imo.

Nothing in the pictures indicate it is a "Damascus" steel.
