Designed by Michael Etorma, the Tuya Kostoba folder is as flashy as it is handy. Starting with the handle, it’s made from a combination of carbon fiber and G-10 for a two-toned serpentine look. The blade continues the serpentine vibes. Sporting three angular cutouts in the spine and an aggressively angled modified wharncliffe profile, it looks like a snake ready to strike. These cutouts, along with the flipper tab, allow the carrier to deploy the blade two ways. Plus, thanks to its N690 stainless steel construction, the blade takes a good edge—even after you put it to work. Inside the colorful scales are stainless steel liners, and outside them is a contoured pocket clip for right-handed carry.
