Great quality and value for its price. Extremely satsified with this transaction. M390 steel, great ergonomics, smooth opening action, and aesthetically pleasing. Its design is simple and not overdone in my opinion, which i like and prefer in a knife. Nothing too flashy or too 'dull'-looking. Easily became one of my favorites in my collection.
This is the nicest knife I own and I love it. I have knives all the way up to $400 knives and I love this knife more than any of my others. The knife is perfectly balanced and the grip feels amazing. The m390 steel is a "steal" at this price point and feels amazing. The knife holds an edge just as well as any of my other m390 knives do. The bearing is one of the smoothest I've ever had the pleasure of opening. And the frame lock is perfect! I love the colored accent on the backspacer and the pocket clip too. ABSOLUTE PERFECTION!!!
Excellent fit and finish on mine. When received - the blade is perfectly centered, absolutely no play but an opening action is smooth, easy and pleasant. Can shave but not "scary" sharp. Ergonomic is pretty decent too (at least for big hands)
The only problem is visual design - it is not refined (for example the handle looks just chubby)
I just changed my review to 5 stars. Everything seems to be just fine now. I'm not sure what was on the blade when I got it, but I was able to get it off with a little elbow grease (KPL). The handle is a little wide for me, but still a very nice knife for the price.
I would give this 5 stars if it hadn't come with a little cancer (rust) on the blade. I know that M390 isn't the greatest on corrosion resistance, but from factory? Come on man...
