If you’re into big, legible watches, the U-Boat Classico 50 won’t disappoint. Featuring a chunky 50-millimeter stainless steel case and a heavy, polished tungsten bezel, the watch is bound to get noticed on any wrist Read More
ashman102Its a Valjoux 7750. Standard Chronograph movement when automatic unless a Zenith El Primero is used. But then its a little over 1.500 $. :-)
There is a chinese made automatic Chronograph movement but its not often used, Ticino has them in their Chronos for around 230$. Unbeatable price for a decent movement.
A $1,500 ‘U-Boat’ watch with a water resistance rating of 100m? Interesting.
Even if I could afford it, and liked the design and all... the thing is absolutely massive. I could never pull off a watch of this size.
Three times as heavy as steel; five times as heavy as titanium; tungsten and gravity are very good friends.
(I'm not surprised that they haven't listed the weight!)
SrtJunkyAlmost impossible to make this water resistant without screw in crowns (three of them), but that would have ruined the design i guess.
Great looking watch but black lume is just not doing it. Lume is important, at least for me.
Maybe another dial color or a different model, Massdrop?!
