nantipaneithSpecs are in the description under the pictures.
  • Batteries: 3 x 1.5V AAA in external pack.

I use NiMH rechargeables and they work really great in this application.

What a great little light weight light! For those of you that are just receiving it, it's great but a warning the battery pouch is tight for a reason, it stretches, work with it. The tightness of the pouch keeps it from bouncing around and irritating your head. The band is brilliant it hangs on to your skull but doesn't give you that headache from squeezing your melon. Great drop! Paul

I purchased on a previous drop.
I like it. I like the variable lighting you can only get through rheostat design. I find bright settings to be too bright and dim settings to be too dim, so this "volume knob" design really works. Also, the battery in the back is handy to eliminate too much weight up front. The battery sleeve is VERY tight but needs to be to eliminate movement. It's a neoprene type material so it does stretch. It is frustrating at first but stretches a bit with use. I've used this on multiple outings and even lost it in a creek. Only to find it the next day hung up on a limb. Still worked after being a few inches under water for about 7 hours. In short? I'll be getting my son one as a Scout.

I was a sucker for the aesthetics of this lamp from the photos but just wanted to warn that it doesn't quite translate in person. Definitely not a bad light for this price and the light adjustment itself is quite nice. Overall build quality is cheap to me though and beyond everything it is very bulky. It's light enough but takes up over twice the space of the light it was supposed to replace. This will be fine in my day bag but definitely not a choice lamp for longer trips.

zmpenaAgree, bulky and won't fit into the same place where I store Princeton Tec EOS but since I mainly use this light for work and not really for travelling or hiking it would be fine for me. I like the user interface and the way it sits on my forehead and and I find that it's quite comfy wearing it for extended period. The lens feels really cheap though, after I unpacked it from the packaging it got scratched all over within the first 5 minutes.

Is the pricing on this new drop janked?
It's $23.99 if at least 12 people purchase, but $29.99 if at least 24 people purchase? That seems backwards.

andrewshortI had the same question? If only 12 people buy it, it's cheaper?

Received it today, I have to say it is quite light and comfortable to wear but compare to Princeton Tec that I keep in my sling bag the A120 is quite big mostly due to the Neoprene headband. Operating the A120 is very easy and light is adjustable thought not exactly fully adjustable. It is more like I can adjust the low light to medium bit by bit by turning the knob but at one point the light will jump from medium to max with very little turn. in other word, low light to medium I can adjust well but medium to max there is no way to adjust. No problem for me but for those who need a little more than medium but not needing max light will not be able to do what they want. The lens is clear plastic and get scratch extremely easy. this light has very obvious hot spot due to its reflector design but I find easy fix for my application. I put opaque sticky tape on the lens as lens protector and act as a frosting lens as well. now the light works better up close with less noticeable hot spot.
