Stays "ignited" underwater. Pretty sure these are gypsy magic.
Confused old men who claimed it wouldn't work, had to waste a couple matches while camping to prove it. Hearing the grumbling was well worth a couple matches.
Let's just say everything shy of actually lighting one of the matches (because I don't want to waste them) is great - packaging, case, aesthetics, etc.
Now let's just hope when I'm camping in the rain I'm just as happy a customer.
It's physically larger than I thought it would be, therefore it has some weight to it. The matches work really well. If you will rely on matches to start your fire these are definitely the way to go. Much better than wax covered or strike anywhere type matches. I recommend knowing how to build a fire because this only holds 10-12 matches. You need to be "ready" once you light the match. 4/5 stars because you can only start 10-12 fires.
Loved these matches. We intentionally went out camping on a poor weather day to test these guys out. It got super windy but it still able to light. I'm waiting your it to rain I'd I'll go test them again.
Not overly impressed with these, for as big as they are I feel like they should stay lit longer. It is a cool party trick to show friends the matches work under water but I would rather carry a small box of Diamond matches instead. However, the fire starters that came in this bundle are 100% worth the purchase and I will continue to buy those, they work every time.
Exactly as described arrived earlier than stated lightweight seems well constructed haven’t water tested it and matches are huge should have no issue getting a fire going with them
