but then you need an amp and speakers. how about a massdrop for the NuForce Dia - then all you need is speakers and most of us have those.

@Drew Not sure I follow senior. This is an amp/dac combo unit and you can run speakers through the RCA outs on the back.

Will@Will I think he's saying that it isn't the type of amp that will directly power speakers. It has line-out but not speaker connectors. No biggie, since this DAC obviously isn't designed as an old school HI-FI amp.
