hieu.nguyenI'd be all over these, if for nothing more than the detachable cables and because my SF5Ps are getting a bit aged, but I've already burned through my head-fi dosh for the month (really for the next several months). For those that do get them, Double Helix makes some absolutely fantastic aftermarket IEM cables for these http://bacn.mx/DHCFusion It's especially nice because they build it as a 1 foot cable with a 3 foot extension, so that you can have some versatility of configuration. I've been lusting after this quite a bit, but can't swing it this time around.
GlenRIt's strictly subjective, but many people feel changing the cable can change the sound signature of headphones in subtle ways (or sometimes in not so subtle ways). I don't really want to open that particular can of worms (although maybe I already did). I can't really provide any review as I do not own the UE900s. I was more throwing it out there, as I own DHC cables for some of my other headphones and have found that they have excellent build quality and have met my expectations. DHC specifically makes cables for IEMs in addition to cables intended for full-sized headphones, where many aftermarket cable makers do not.

Out of curiosity, I was trying to find comparisons between these and the SF5Ps, and I came upon a comprehensive review done on Head-Fi in one of the mega threads of almost 300 different IEMs. Someone charted them out here http://theheadphonelist.com/headphone-list/ and as you can see the UE900s rate very highly, and at the price on this drop are a steal compared to similarly rated IEMs.
