Just received my Circuit. Looks great! My question is this... I ordered the pack with the pack cover and the front shoulder strap pockets, but only got the pack cover and one shoulder strap pocket. When I ordered, it seemed like the term shoulder strap pockets would have been more than the one shoulder strap pocket that came in the box. Anyone feel free to chime in. Thanks!
RadarI had the same thing, the listing said "pockets" but I only received one, and there wasn't an option to select multiples so I assumed it came with two.
I believe last years's model had the Non-stretch mesh pocket, and maybe this years's has the Stretch mesh front pocket. Can anyone verify whic type of mesh the large pocket is?
Great pack - light weight! I have the ULA circuit 35. Super comfortable. Just completed a 5 day Sierra Loop trek with it. I overstuffed it (despite manufacturers instructs not to) to 40lbs. Carried BV450 bear can inside & upright. Tent strapped outside. I use J-Strap style shoulder harness and large hip belt. (Note: ULA’s are semi customizable to your size - if you order direct from them, they ask your size and preference for shoulder straps (two styles) and hip belt size). Not sure how that’s being handled on this Mass Drop — you should ask that before ordering to ensure you are getting one that fits you! Highly recommend for 3-5 day backpacking excursions.
I've heard good things about their packs from a few backpackers, and it looks like the base price is $36.00 less than the normal ULA selling price.
Sounds like a good deal for a two pound, nine ounce, sixty eight liter pack that can hold around thirty five pounds of gear, though I would like to carry much less weight if possible.
ULA makes a SUPER product. I have the larger Catalyst which has about 500 AT miles on it and it's showing zero wear. I know it's a lot of cash but you won't regret the investment in quality.
labbitsHonestly the reason I asked is because on ULAs website you can get last years model in camo for the same price with free shipping. So if you don't mind last years model and camo you could save a few bucks (in shipping) and get it sooner. Take care!
