It would be great if they would let us know where to send our impressions to, and what our order numbers are, sooner rather than later, as I am shipping my impressions from Canada, and they expect the impressions there by the 23rd.

Well, I'm pretty sure if you go to the Ultimate Ears website here: https://pro.ultimateears.com/get-your-impressions you'll get the address you want, though you may want to call in asking how to tie your impressions to an order that hasn't completed yet through Massdrop. Of course, Massdrop could have made things easier for people by putting it on the front page of the drop, but for me this is expected.

Yes. But the bigger issue is that Massdrop said our order number needs to be included with the impressions. An order number that we don't have yet :( I'm sure it'll get sorted, but they could do with better communication.

Well, this is Massdrop, where all the little things tend to be clarified in the late stages of the drops. At least that's how it's felt recently. I'm just waiting for the UERR to come to Massdrop, I really want to get my hands on that one...

I just received an email from community support. They have no knowledge on this as we do. I'm guessing we should get the impressions and send to the address that provided on the UE website.

Yeah... But they explain that we need an order number to ship with our impressions. We don't have that order number yet.

Apparently they just decided to update the description with more details, i.e. they'll email after the drop where to send with the specific order # to send with it, and even stated that you can't use anything but send in a set of impressions for the drop. Basically implying that the order is treated as a new customer with no digital scanning as an option.
Very odd, hard to say if this was set up by UE since this is very anti-consumer if your only option was to send in an impression, with no recourse if you either already have a decent set of impressions on-file with UE or have done/are going to do the digital scanning route. Hopefully I'm wrong about that, and it's just a case of information not being clarified before the drop started. If only someone from UE would come in and say something...

Hi all, Mike Dias here from Ultimate Ears. This is a BYOI party — Bring Your Own Impressions. The digital scanners are all with authorized UE dealers and since the discount of the drop comes from MassDrops dealer margin, it wouldn't be polite to expect a different dealer to do the work then have the sale go somewhere else. Another way to say it, you wouldn't go to one store to learn everything and then to a different place to buy, right?

Do you know if we can simply send our impressions to the address on your website already? Or do we have to wait for an order number from Massdrop?

It's better to wait. Send them Monday after you get the additional info when the drop closes and you'll be just fine. We turn around perfect orders in less than 5 days. No rush charges ever needed. Our lab is amazing.

Please clarify My thinking. I live in Irvine, CA. If I join, I cannot even drop by your Irvine location to get the impressions done since it is "bring your own impressions?" I am talking about this location:
