Gahhhh could someone convince me to buy these UE Reference Monitors instead of the Alclair Reference or the 1964EARS V6? First time CIEM purchaser here, trying to justify buying UERM instead of the other two choices... especially the V6, which seem like a better all around buy... no? But this discount!!

yeky83If you want neutrality, the UERM is the only game in town from what I've read. That's part of why I'm grabbing a set.

yeky83I have a pair of jh13's that are absolutely my favorite piece of technology that I own. CIEM's are an investment and are worth it if you value custom, hand made things, that will never let you down.

yeky83Do you have a good amp/DAC system? If you don't these probably won't do you any good because they won't achieve the sound quality you are looking for as these are more picky then the ones you listed.
This probably isn't the best all around headphone as it is more intended for professional mixers and such and the flatter response won't be as enjoyable as something with a little more v to it.
