Hmmm, as someone who is 90% deaf in one ear with a enlarged ear canal. These seem like a good option for me. I work in a loud data center and headphones are not really an option. Wish I could afford that much at this time. Very interesting.

TacoHerderYou can get universal or custom IEMs for much cheaper than this across many vendors.

Jrummerlike who, and what is the SQ like? this pair, from what i've read, is one of the better bangs for the bucks, esp when customs often hit the $1k plus mark easily (empire ears, studio 64, etc etc)

_zegnaSaw your post on head fi. Hope you enjoy them. Was looking on UE website and they have a more entry level custom iem at 400. I assume they aren't as awesome but probably still great.

GlenRthanks...unsure if I'll stay with these or trade up to the JH13v2 ...love that variable bass tuning mechanism...or even the ue18+...but that is a bigger $$$ jump.
