Is there a video guide for removing the memory wire from the cable? Or at least a good cable without memory wire (that doesn't change the sound signature)?

annapurnavisI'm sorry to tell you that I couldn't find any video guides for you. It's really easy and simple, so even without a video guide you'll probably succeed.
If you are still worried about damaging the cable, you can just order any mmcx ofc (oxygen-free copper) cable without a earguide (look at the picture or the item information carefully) from your local online store(ex:Amazon, Ali express,...) at a cheap price.

annapurnavis(Cutting with blades works, but do be careful not to cut the cable.)
Yes. Depending on the cable wire, sound changes quite a bit. (Compared to normal cables) Pure copper cables are known to add more bass details and improve bass reponse speed, and pure silver cables are known to add more details to the high ranged sounds. Silver plated cables or silver + copper alloy cables are somewhere in between.
But this is only a general information. Depending on the IEM, changing cables might change the sound, give a side effect, do both, or even change nothing.

Sn0wF14k3Thanks for the detailed info.
What kind of cables are the default UE ones?

annapurnavisProbably plain copper. Not sure if it's oxygen free copper, but i couldn't find any information. I remember experiencing quite a bit of a change while using silver plated ofc and silver-copper alloy cables, so it would probably be plain copper.

Sn0wF14k3It’s a piece of wire, but no doubt some of the people on here can tell to what fraction of a percent the copper is oxygen free from a quick listen on the morning commute.

T.Yeah, if you aren't extremely accurate with your ears It's hard to tell. You could identify a really bad cable and a OFC, but it isn't the case so...
