Sennheiser PC37X randomly goes bad after disconnecting the cable ?
Greetings, Yesterday I was using my headset like normal with my macbook, just listening to music and on a call with people like usual, and the headset was perfectly fine. The stock wire that came with the headset is extremely long and yesterday it annoyed me very much that it kept getting tangled with itself, so I decided to see if the cable is replaceable. I pulled out the cable from the headset and saw the adapter, and looked online for a replacement. Upon plugging it back in, the audio sounded extremely muffled and washed out. Im not sure what I did wrong to make it mess up like that as I've always taken good care of it, ive had it for about 2 years and its always just been chilling on my desk, but anywho I thought the cable just went bad and ordered a replacement. The replacement came, and the issue is still persistant, so I am not sure what the issue is I've tried multiple different headsets and the issue is not with the port, and I also tried it with my windows laptop and...

4. The carrying case is absolute shit! Blame the designer! The case is opening on the back, while opening it. So what you actually do is: Trying to fit all the cable clutter plus the IEMs inside a finger wide tube and hoping not to squeeze some of the parts when closing the back. While doing so, I've cut one of my foam tips on the upper end, see picture.
5. The little piece of try-to-hold-the-cables-together. It's annoying to carry on the cable, where it usually belongs. Always with fear of losing it. Of course you could say, carry it around in your case. I would, if there wouldn't be the high chance of dropping it, when opening it. Happened several times...
Conclusion: This is the second version of the headphones, luckily you didn't send the UE900, but they seem unfinished and rather prototypes than buyable items.
@UltimateEars FIX YOUR MSRP! THIS PRODUCT IS NOT WORTH 500 USD!!! I'd rather guess, that you've put the MSRP that high, to actually sell them, when they are "on sale". I considered this product, because I thought, that I might buy CIEMs of your brand later and thus getting this sticker. But what I see is, that they can't really be worth the price.
So, well played, you lost a customer, and all those that I might counsel at buying headphones.
Greetings, Tim EDIT: - they appear to suffer in sound when played on lower volumes - I got electro shocks several times, while wearing them. Not severe, but uncomfortable when not expecting.
