The audio on my pc38x is not working
One day I just plugged in my Pc38x and they stopped working. I tested the mic and it works, I've tried changing the cord multiple times and have adjusted the volume disk, none of this has changed my situation. I've tested the headphones on my PC, switch, and PS5 and the audio doesn't work there either.

Hifiman x Dekoni Cobalt or Massdrop x Meze 99 Noir
Im looking to buy a set of closed back headphones under $200. So far the two main contenders are the Cobalt and Noir. Has anyone compared these two? which seems to be better? Both are around the same price. Ive heard the cobalt is lacking in bass, while thats not ideal im not too worried as I dont often listen to bassy music.

Xduoo Poke II repair
Hi friends, I recently had a mishap with my Xduoo Poke II, that is, it fell out of my hands and now it turns on but the command buttons now work sometimes and sometimes not. I have written several times to Xduoo directly because it was with them that I bought this Dac and to find out what I can do about it but after two months I have not received a response. I live in Mexico City but I would like to know if anyone knows of a technical service in the US that could repair my Poke II and know if it would be worth it for me taking into account the cost of repair and the issue of shipping, or if it is better to think about buying a new portable Dac. Refusal to take responsibility.
Hi, Just thought I would make a note here of your handling of my issues. I ordered a pair of HD6xx headphones and then earlier today recieved the package. I drive to go and get it, as I like in the UK I had to pay import tax and handling fees. These total £47.92. The breakdown being £35.92 in tax and £12 in fees. These taxes were calculated of the shipping label of the box, which marked the shipment as the 6xx headphones of $199 value. Before leaving the parcel depot, I open the box to find a $35 lord of the rings mousepad. So now the problem is not only do I not have the headphones, but you have marked the shipment wrong so I have paid £47.92 fees for the handling of the mousepad. Which would have acrued £0 of fees if marked correctly as it is under £135. I go back to the desk but as I have already paid the fees I am unable to reject the shipment, but as the box said 6xx, there was no way for me to know before opening it. I contact support and they offer me a replacement, which...

Here's my quick first impression: Sound Q... is OK. I'll need to put a some hours on them and compare them to few of the IEMs & cans I have, give a go with a few tips, sources, and see if the other cable matters. Keep in mind I'm not intending on listening to anything beyond 320 MP3s on an iPhone 7+ with them so YMMV if you use better source material, amps, etc. I'll probably give them a go on my PC setup (onboard>optical>HK 6xx avr) just to see if a decent amp makes a difference, I recall the Supers responded well to some amping giving a small, but noticeable, improvement. I just don't plan on using them like that on a daily which is where I'm keeping more of my focus.
Right off the bat though I'm pretty darn sure these are NOT like my Supers which had a pretty flat, analytic, sound that I compared to AKG K701 at the time (~10yrs ago jeez!). They seem a little bright, not painfully, just a bit more emphasis on the upper range; sound stage is something I don't typically think about but in this case I noticed it feels like it's all right on top of me - it's a bit claustrophobic if that makes any sense. Like I don't need Mark Foster in my lap man, get back on stage. I'm not a big believer in break-in but hopefully these do a bit.
Just to give you an idea of where I'm coming from Grado SR-325i, Westone ADV1s, Koss Porta-Pros, and Apple buds are the most common I use. The Grados have my ideal sound signature but I did like my old Supers for the occasional analytic session.
I'll do my best to swing back with more thoughts once I've given them a fair shake.
