Ultimate Hammocks

Based in Utah’s Wasatch Mountains, Ultimate Hammocks makes high-quality hammocks for hiking, camping, boating, or just relaxing in your backyard. Recently updated with new colors and weight-cutting features, the Ultimate Hammock is made of breathable, durable nylon with bartacked stress points and triple-stitched seams. Coming in at 21.6 ounces, the Ultimate Hammock offers enough room for two people (or a spacious sleeping arrangement for one) and now has a compression strap equipped with a whistle buckle. It can support up to 400 pounds, and packs neatly into the integrated stuff sack.

Slim, light, and extremely packable, the Ultimate Strap maintains the strength and durability hammock campers have come to expect. It’s made of high-tenacity polyester with a stitch-free Nano Weave design that eliminates ridges, bulk, and weak links. Each strap measures 10 feet long and tapers from 1 inch to half an inch wide—and thanks to the Nano Weave, the bottom of the taper remains every bit as strong as the top. The wider part helps avoid girdling and damage to the tree’s bark and cambium, while the thinner part keeps the weight to a minimum. Though these straps have a tensile (breaking) strength of 800 pounds and 1600 pounds, Ultimate Hammocks recommends no more than 220 pounds in the hammock for the 800 tensile and 400 pounds for the 1600 tensile.
