I'm looking for something like this for an upcoming trip, but I really need a mosquito net. Anyone know of a good solution; a net on the side or should I buy a hammock that comes with a net?

pythonvalleYukon Outfitters makes a good mosquito net that is reasonably priced.
See my detailed review and opinion about this hammock in the discussion forum.

pythonvalleThe ENO Doublenest is a great base hammock for about $50-$60 that you can then build off of with other accessories from ENO such as a bug net, rain fly, etc.

biglittlepI don't quite mind getting something that's a bit more expensive, as long as it works really well. Don't want to just buy some sketchy stuff of Amazon 😅

MsilverhammerGreat review dude, that was all I needed to know. I've never used a Hammock before, but need one for a Hike I have coming up. It also turns out you and me are about the same height and weight. In your review you recommended the V2 from ultimate hammock, do you have other recommendations I should check out from other brands?

pythonvalleTwo other brands to look into if you want a nice hammock are Hennessy and Warbonnet. I own a Hennessy Jungle Explorer myself and am very happy with it.

pythonvalleI highly recommend that you take a close look at the website run by Derek Hansen.
The site is called the Ultimate Hang.
Following is the actual;l web address:
https://theultimatehang.com/
Derek has created a very detailed and comprehensive website covering most if not all hammocks, including many reviews, a list of hammock manufacturers, and everything associated with using hammocks for camping.
I also recommend taking a look at a small, but high quality cottage manufacturer which goes by the name of Dutch Ware Gear.
https://dutchwaregear.com/
Dutch has great high performance gear, and innovative products like the Chameleon Hammock.
There is also a British company that I like for hammocks, and especially tarps.
http://www.ddhammocks.com/
They have great products at very reasonable prices, especially if you like hammocks and tarps in great looking Camouflage Colors, and the last time that I checked, shipping is included from Great Britain to the USA at no extra cost.
They have great customer service, and their packages arrive faster than those from companies located right here in the USA.
Check them all out!
I hope this helps, and good luck on your hammock camping trip!

pythonvalleI just thought of another good manufacturer that I like that I forgot to mention.
Check out Outdoor Vitals.
https://outdoorvitals.com/
They sell direct to consumers, so the pricing is good.
There are other good companies, but now you have a few really good sources for hammock gear, and other outdoor gear.
