Slim, light, and extremely packable, the Ultimate Strap maintains the strength and durability hammock campers have come to expect. It’s made from high-tenacity polyester with a stitch-free Nano Weave design that eliminates ridges, bulk, and weak links Read More
The hammock I initially purchased came with subpar straps that made me hesitant to even use my hammock because of the ten minute setup process. I ordered these straps and have only had a good time with them. Super easy to use and works even on tiny trees and posts.
Packs super light! Quick and easy to set up, nice spacing between loops. Thicker at the end which wraps the trunk of the tree to minimize strain on bark.
Slam dunk. Great straps. I’d totally trust them on a long hike but I’ve only used them on day outings so far. I use it with the grand trunk nano 7 and it’s about a pound together. Great combo.
Execelent and lightweight! I will be looking to pick up another set for my daughter! I tried them out on a day hike yesterday, had a good snooze on a sunny hillside. No damage to the bark and very easy setup. I have been using whoops slings, these are quicker and not enough more weight to care.
I'm torn about the rating on these...
Joined the drop fall of 2017 and got straps rated for 400#/set. (Originally advertised)
Massdrop sent me an email a few weeks ago asking if I liked them. I do and so I clicked the product link and just went straight to order another set. Apparently, they downgraded them to 220#/set.
My fault for not double checking, but why downgrade in the same product page instead of creating a new one... or giving the option to choose.
MeowseJust for legal purposes they rate themselves for a fraction of what they can hold. I’ve pulled cars from ditches with straps the size of regular hammock ones. These are totally adequate for my 210 pound self and my 80 pound dog.
I cannot praise high enough. Great for me, however, better for my kids, as I do not have to worry about their knots or rigging. Makes a family trip much smoother.
I’ve been using these with my ENO double nest for a while now, probably have 15-20 nights use. They have no sag or stretch at all. The only thing I’m not crazy about is how wide the tree end of the strap is, because I don’t use a carabiner with my straps, and feeding the hammock end through the tree loop really crushes the tree loop with weight on. Not sure how that will affect wear over time.
