just got these in, the box they come in is pretty awesome... and the dice themselves are very nice (though now that i have it i feel like the highlight of the buy is the box haha) i feel like the whole thing could have been put through a wash cycle though, it still has smudging from what i assume is the etching process around a lot of the pips... it comes right off with a wipe down, but i would think they would be cleaned before they are packaged up? just odd things.... i love the milling marks in the box though, makes it feel a lot more industrial

As a buyer of the Amber rix dice, Machined dice are really awesome. The pips on these dice look pretty ugly though, I much prefer the "well" style pips seen on the pre-UP gravity dice.
At first I thought these where the Gravity Dice that was on Kickstarter last year. So balanced (So they say) that they can be balanced on edge. For some reason i didn't register Ultra Pro at the start of that. Still, being laser etched instead of tooled out should keep the balance more or less true. Price would have to come down to about $20 to justify the amount spent for the many sets I would have to buy if I was going to have enough for most of my non board game d6 games. There is just enough here for yahtzee though. So that's not bad.
