The previous drop ran into problems because the vendor overcommitted how many they could do in a timely manner, especially given the holidays. We have coordinated with the vendor to make sure that they will have extra help fulfilling these orders if they exceed the volume their regular staff is capable of. We are also going to keep in constant contact throughout the fulfillment process to ensure that if there are any volume problems, they are seen and dealt with in advance.
As I've mentioned in the past, this vendor is great to work with because of their willingness to carefully pack each order with the individual mix of colors each participant requests. We think this is really valuable to the community, so we are committed to helping them scale to meet the needs of the Hobby Shop members on Massdrop.
