As an owner of multiple IBM Model Ms I recommend this to anyone who loves to type with tactile feedback, including people who already own mechanical keyboars with Cherry MX switches. IMO buckling spring switches are very much an upgrade to MX switches as they feel much more organic. Also, the Model M and the Unicomp keyboards come default with dye sublimation keys, which feel the best since they are perfectly smooth (the printing method does not add or subtract material from the keycaps). Usually you have to buy after-market key caps with Cherry MX switch keyboards to get dye sub keys.
