JamesXIt's a matter of preference. Some people love Buckling Springs, others prefer Cherry MX, Alps, Topre, etc.. There's no firm consensus. If you like keyboards that offer audible (clicky) feedback and 65g weighted keys, Buckling Springs might be just the ticket. The click is pretty loud and the key weighting is pretty heavy. Personally, I find Buckling Springs fatiguing to type on for any length of time, but a lot of people prefer a heavier switch.

JamesXGood bye tech-review girly arms. I've used an IBM -M for years, and was so disappointed with the Ducky mechanical I bought. Much better feel but it's louder and heavier. Hey, Dolly in 9to5 could hit the keys just fine, so man up!

JamesXSubjective, but as far as clicky switches go the general consensus is that buckling springs take the cake. Unicomps are modeled after Model M keyboards, which are very common in the aftermarket.
Many further argue that Model F (buckling spring over capacitive) is even better than Model M; if you *really* want to go down the rabbit hole, you can try beam springs, but those are for the super curious. ;)
