I love the engineering of the Matias Quiet Clicks with the exception of the rectangular female mount for the keycaps. The keycaps just don't sit in place as firmly as the cross/plus mount MX keycaps, and the keycap wobble wasn't for me. Some users appreciate the chaotic wobble.
I'd love to join a Matias drop in the future where the keycap mount on the plunger were redesigned - this would require a new version of the entire switch. Matias are essentially slightly improved ALPS SKC* switches, so any modification to the plunger mount would be a welcome evolution of an aging design (ALPS SKC* switches are almost completely unchanged since 1983).
FyndThe Caps don't wobble at all, in fact they're extremely tight.
The wobble comes from the spacing between the housing and the stem which gives the design a nice frictionless feel since there's minimal contact.
