Looks and feels great! (when it doesn't have connection issues)
The looks are great, it feels great when you type on it. I used a keycap switch and since the new keycaps were not translucent, the leds underneath looked great.
BUT, the one problem I had with the keyboard is that the way the usb mini connector is soldered. I bought a custom usb cable and at my first attempt it failed, made me think that the cable was faulty, and then it worked.
After a few years of regular usage and not experiencing the connection issue, the keyboard finally gave up. Now I have to bend the cable at the connection point in order to make it powerup, but it's unusable at this moment.
I've tried to check the solder points, but the small size of this type of connection makes it's impossible for an unexperienced solder to repair this.
I have had this keyboard for a year now, and I think it's time I write my first review on it.
...and FYI this is my first keeb.
I can say that this keyboard is dope experience for anyone (like me) who's looking to try out the 60% life. As a programmer, it's nice to type with because of the compactness. While that applies to almost every 60%, this one was prebuilt and cheaper than other nice ones, making it a much safer investment when trying to get into using 60%'s. I personally bought the red-blue LED's with brown switches (because I'm weird) and it's been one of my essentials tools I bring for work. One thing I do not like about this keyboard is the provided cord. It's really not that good. I highly suggest buying your own (maybe from mass drop or amazon) that's better looking or has more flexibility. The cord isn't aesthetically pleasing nor is it built for good cord management. But other that, solid beginner's 60%. 4.5/5.
