This shit is all wrong wrong wrong. MANY OF US ARE USING DAPS! For our HD600/xx headphone we need a 1.5 meter balanced cable with a 2.5mm jack! Capiche? Low capacitance 1.5 meter balanced version of this cable for use with our high-end DAPs, and preferably for $30 because that's all they're really worth. The guys at Massdrop are only concerned with their pathetic wants, 3meter XLR blah blah😩

MbotWell, my "pathetic" want is a well priced, good quality HD 6xx cable for my XLR balanced desktop amp. And that is exactly what this is. Want a $30 2.5mm balanced cable? Stop whining and take up soldering. Otherwise, wait for the inevitable drop that will cater to your "pathetic" wants, though don't expect it for $30.

Mbot I'm months new to headphones but this post made me giggle. DAP with 300 ohm open back Senns and then demands balanced 2.5mm jack cable for budget price. That's nobodys target market for cables. I think what you need for your DAP to complete your audio journey is ditch your Senns, pick up a set of electrostatics with a balanced 0.5 meter cable and a 1.8mm plug for $15 and listen to them in an open pit mine.

Remember there aren't more stupid people in this world than there used to be, they just have a much easier time making their voices heard... thanks internet!
Edit: Had to add something ... honestly I wouldn't get too attached to the 2.5mm TRRS situation, Sony has rallied quite a few manufacturers to jump on board with their 4.4mm BS. Still don't get the whole portable/balanced thing but different strokes for different folks!
