This is the 2+. The B&H deal includes spiked feet, but at $50 savings you can probably get them separately. The rather unique feature of this tripod is the rotatable center column. This is useful for product or macro work, but does sacrifice some stability for convenience.

JK0305aaI think the one you are talking about is the ' Vanguard Alta Pro 263AB', while this drop is for the 'Vanguard Alta Pro 263AP'. AP instead of AB. What that difference means, I couldn't say.
