Even though you know vaping is better for your lungs than straight combustion, you’ve resisted the switch so you can retain the satisfaction that comes with a proper water pipe rip. Letting you walk the line and hit dense clouds of pure vapor like a regular Chong, the VapeXhale Cloud EVO is a revolutionary new device that combines vaporization and water filtration Read More
Had one and decided to sell it for a Plenty. I do like the Cloud Evo but it's a fragile unit, I found myself very nervous to pass it to a friend that was not fully educated with the vape maybe it was having the water tube sitting over such an expensive electronic device. The biggest thing that got me was the glass on glass joint was not removable, I was just waiting for it to break and have wasted the whole unit. When you put the metal insert needed to pack herb in the "all glass pathway" it kind of makes it not all glass anymore... Good unit but just not for me.
Polecatt613I do agree that the all-glass sales point is kind of bunk when the bowls are metal, I don't believe the metal makes a difference. The Lotus can deliver equally tasty hits (but doesn't have nearly as large a bowl) and it is all-metal. Concentrates are all-glass, though, with the VapeXNail.
Fragility does not seem to be an issue with the joint, but I do always wince when someone else puts the Hydratube onto the joint. The Plenty looks more sturdy, but I haven't seen one in person.
The joint is replaceable, but it is expensive. $130 for service, as I recall, from VapeXhale. Not cheap, but far cheaper than a new unit.
If you guys can get these down to the lowest price and perhaps add additional hydratube options, that would be fantastic! I've been waiting for my state to provide compassionate, legal medical products (sadly, we're so far behind more evolved states), but I've been following the VapeXHale Cloud since its first beta test .
As far as I can tell, THIS is the high end vaporizer to get. Between its hydratube system, its all-glass vapor path and segregated electronics etc.. this will be my standard way of medicating when I am able to do so. I They've won numerous awards from all sorts of publications and as they continue to refine the design and offer various new features (new tubes) etc. I'm so glad that one manufacturer has been making an uncompromisingly healthful design -in the very same way I wouldn't vape any medicine that wasn't traceable and grown USDA Organic, I wouldn't pay a fortune for certain popular vapes that have electronics insufficiently sequestered from the air path, use lower quality heating elements etc...
Mass drop has done the right thing working with VapeXHale - hopefully they will be able to keep these in stock to drop again and again! Thanks for all you've done!
Bought a pair of beyerdynamic's off massdrop that eventually had problems. I emailed massdrop about warranty and they told me that massdrop was not authorized to sell their product and should not be selling it at all. Weird RIGHT? WELP. They warrantied my headphones anyway and told me never to buy any authentic products from a not authorized reseller for ANY product. So if it's not under 100$... be prepared.
Just chiming in as a VERY happy owner of a VXC with the Turbine Hydratube. It is killer! Rips like crazy. Leave your ELB in the bamboo while it is heating up (I stay below ~2 o'clock for flower), then let it have an extra ten minutes and you can get *extremely* thick vapor and it keeps coming for what feels like forever, effortlessly.
I was impatient and bought it from the manufacturer directly and do not regret it for a minute.
I noticed when this drop was previously done, people were not as happy with the Hydratube that was included, and you guys added a sidecirc option, will that be true this time around as well?
I missed the previous many drops for this, so I would hate to not get one of the better HT's for it and then have to rebuy one of those after the fact, would kind of eat into the cost savings, I feel.
Eddie,
We remove kits from our website that are being discounted by Massdrop so there isn't any "competition" between our website and the Massdrop. ALL the Hydratubes are between $250-300 so there really isn't a budget/premium version, just a matter of preference. We are still a small company so it is hard to stock a huge amount of all the glass variations for a Massdrop but as we grow, hopefully this will become something easier for us to pull off. Appreciate your feedback, we will make sure that we take this into serious consideration.
spincutI'm pretty happy with the SideTree HydraTube it's been working great had no problems at all. Bought it during the last drop which went very quick! No regrets with the hydratube; however MassDrop occasionally drops the most voted for Hydratubes made only for vapeXhale so keep an eye out for those if you happen to buy this vape!
JaySun is a Massdrop representative. This is publicly viewable via the flair on his username, that is connected to every comment he posts. He's a frequent problem-solver on the vaporizing listings, and a good middle man between the manufacturers and massdrop.
I'm not a Massdrop representative, however I did purchase the Cloud Evo the first time it was listed on this site. I have sent it into VapeXhale for warranty service twice (once due to an accident on my part, and once due to a heating issue). When VapeXhale asked for proof of purchase I sent them my Massdrop receipt, and they never questioned it.
When it comes to having the unit itself serviced VapeXhale has been excellent. However when it comes to repairs, replacements, or even consistent availability of the hydratubes, they due the absolute worst job of any company I have seen.
If you purchase this unit expect some very high quality, water conditioned, vapor. However do not expect to be able to have a well stocked high quality selection of hydratubes. That having been said my favourite pieces to use with this guy have been made by local glassblowers, and as a result I'm not sure I'll buy any more hydratubes going forward (I currently own two).
