Hi - Maybe I’m blind, but what is the difference in the “HD” version. I can’t see any thing in the details or the overview that defines the difference between the 1L and the 1L HD.
Not being an outdoorsman, are similar products really not available at reasonable prices? Maybe I'm just cheap but this seems like a LOT for a titanium container....for me look at the titanium pot lifter which would seem to be more complex to manufacture and costs only 18 bucks. I'm shocked that a pot/bottle would be so expensive, but I get that items like this with dual purpose would be very handy for someone who packs in and out...
There's a ton of stuff available that is high quality, purpose built, for backpacking and such that doesn't have the "exclusivity" or "scarcity" factor that sometimes is a draw for certain folks at reasonable prices - and $75 might be reasonable for some (I am not in that category haha).
I would be interested in 900ml with handles that has an inside diameter of 4.5" and a height around 3.7+". With the screw top that seals. Why? It would fit the 8oz MSR fuel canister and I can stay out longer. I think it would transfer heat to the contents of the bowl better as well.
I’m not trying to be an ass or anything but this 700ml cup and cover is $75? Why? If you told me $50, I’d say okay but still kinda expensive it’s a titanium cup with a screw on cover. It has no complicated machining, assembly or tight tolerances that has to be observed or maintained. I’m probably being a d*ck to a whole community right now but I can’t get my head around it. Please someone explain, I’m probably missing something.
