I will say this,"The SS BOT model's lid screws alot easier than the Titanium BOT." I can't imagine much of a weight difference. I paid $89 for my Titanium BOT.

Interesting about the lid threads, good to know. SS weighs 8.4oz and the T 4.7oz. Definitely considerable if you're counting grams.

Yup, you are correct sir, counting grams is a good thing. That's why I put up with the Titanium BOT lid problems. You can remove coating and polish threads with Dremel. I did.
