Product Description
If there’s two main complaints we hear from most flask owners, it’s that their vessel corrupts the taste and they can never find a funnel to fill it up properly. Addressing both issues with superior construction, the Vargo Titanium Funnel Flask gives you a tasteless and highly durable titanium body with a silicone funnel that stays securely on top Read More

There aren't any pics of the flask without the funnel, is there some sort of long stem that the cap screws onto? Can you leave the funnel behind if you wanted, or does it provide some sort of protection for that stem? Looks like the funnel inverts to filling mode, so is it permanently affixed?

Nevermind, good video on Vargo website. Funnel appears to be removeable, but weight should be minimal and likely adds some protection for the protruding spout.

Plan to leave this with 100 proof knob creek in a camping backpack and forget about it until next trip. Will compare taste but I doubt any difference from my Keith titanium flasks

Just a follow up, this flask is perfect and performs better than anticipated. I had thought the attached funnel would have issues with spillage / retaining form but none whatsoever. Have re-filled this out & about more times than I’d care to admit...

i received mine last week, it is very lightweight, but it attracts water spots and it doesn't pour out very well due to the small mouth.

I am a bit worried about whatever they use to weld the seam might leach into the fluid in the flask. There is a amazon review about someone who shined a flashlight inside it and saw all sorts of undesirable things. Can anyone comment?

That was one of the first things I looked at when I got it and it was spotless. Today it's still spotless I will post a picture when I get the chance.

It’s great. I absolutely love it. You can brag that it’s made out of titanium and look the best at any flask party

China is currently the top dog in at least two markets. They make the best flashlights and they compete with us and Japan for titanium products. I can assure you as I own this flask that this beats all others easily. Those junky ones you buy at Walmart will work but the quality here is undeniable. The neck is convenient for filling and pouring. And the knurling on the cap is lovely.

I was surprised at the amount the flask held even though I had the specs before buying. Definitely the right size for a good night.

My only real complaint would be that I wish it were a bit bigger, but that sounds more like a personal issue I should get resolved.
All in all I really like it the past yearish I've had it. It's well made, the machining of the threads and cap are clean and crisp, the rubber thing works really well for filling (much appreciated when motor skills are low), and the Ti is thicker and more sturdy feeling than the Ti on the Vargo water bottle.
I plan on heat anodizing it at some point, easy to do and get pretty results.
Gray flasks are not the most exciting things to photograph, so I may spiced it up a bit with the knife...

They are still having troubles with quality control... Mine has a spot in the weld in the top of the flask instead of the bottom. I guess it's still a real gamble with getting these flasks so take that in mind next time it drops.

The replacement has already been delivered to my house, and the flask is A-OK! The support at Vargo was incredibly speedy and I can reccomend them with full confidence.
