I use this bottle almost daily and it is faultless. I put the water in, the bottle holds it until I pour out it. Simple!
As mentioned elsewhere the thread on the cap is noisy. Also, for a quick sip, the thread is comprehensive. It takes a few turns to get the lid off.
I admit to having a thing for titanium. I don't like the thought of chemical leeching drinking from plastic. This bottle is probably more expensive than it needs to be (especially bought on Amazon Australia! No one in their right mind would). Overall, though, I really like it. It's bombproof.

The Vargo Titanium Para-Bottle Review This water bottle comes with both positivies and negatives but I do recommend it and especially so for spring to autumn use. I do not recommend any metal waterbottles for winter/sub-zero temps due to the inherent problems of combining metal, water and your skin with sub-zero temps. If you want to know why: Go out and lick a lamppost next time it's sub-zero temp (Please don't do this, it will hurt).
I've had it for quite a while now (Since May 2017) and it keeps its promise of not affecting the taste of the water in it, even after extended periods of time (24+ hours of not drinking from the water in it). It doesn't leak and the form factor is pretty standardized so it fits in most pouches designed for holding a waterbottle. Also the shape of the top really helps with grip, especially if you're wearing gloves. The paracord handle is actually useful and not just a "survival/prepper" gimmick as it isn't as conductive as metal which means you don't lose as much heat when carrying it if you are bare handed and you can easily clip it to a carabiner on your pack if you want to. It has an acceptably low weight to volume ratio for the ultralight hikers if you take into consideration the better durability it has than the lightest plastic pouch waterbottles they tend to prefer. A waterbottle that can't hold any water in it because of a small rip or tear isn't good for anything in my opinion.
Specific issues I've discovered some issues that are specific to this bottle though: 1) In the lid there is a plastic seal in the top and I've had it fall out once but at least it was easy to put back in again. This happened inside and in a well lit area so I noticed it immediately. If I hadn't noticed it, say if it happened during the night in the wilderness, it might have made the bottle leak from then on out. I've used the bottle at least 3 days a week for almost a year with multiple opening/closing cycles each time and it has only happened once so far.
2) If you were thinking about using this container as an emergency container to boil water in you will need to have a lot of time on your hands to prep it before you put it near a fire. You'll need to remove the paracord handle and the top due to the paracord and the plastic seal in the top and drinking melted plastic or inhaling fumes from burning plastic isn't a good thing.
3) Sound - You cannot use this bottle quietly as there is metal to metal grinding noises when opening/closing the top (Yes, even after a year of multiple uses a week). If you're a hunter you just scared every animal in a 30 mile radius because you needed a drink... If you're a student you just annoyed every person in the lecture hall and everyone is staring at you now... and now you need to close it back up making even more noise...
If you can't make noise without it disrupting activites around you you basically can't use this bottle; well you still could but only if you don't care about other people.
Non-specific issues The negatives that comes with all metal bottles that I've noticed are these: 1) You cannot use these types of water bottles in a sauna or you will burn yourself horribly since metal gets hot quickly, so don't be as stupid as I were or you will burn your hand or mouth on the metal and/or might be drinking simmering water (+60C) if you let it sit in the sauna long enough. [In this specific case the paracord handle saved my bacon as I could get the bottle out of the sauna without frying my hands so a non-conductive carrying-handle is a really good thing].
2) When it is warm out metal waterbottles will heat up your water a lot quicker than a non-conductive material will. Also some people are more hesitant to drink warm water so it might be an issue for some.
3) It will also freeze the water in it a lot quicker during winter/sub zero conditions and you do not want to put a frozen metal container on your body/in your sleeping bag to heat it up as it might give you frost injuries and it will sap your heat away quickly and will continue to do so as long as it has contact with you.
Overall This might seem like an overly negative review but it really isn't. The Vargo Titanium Para-Bottle works as intended and with the pros and cons that its material endows. I'm very happy with it so far and it still is a great purchase for the uses I use it for.
4/5 stars due to specific issue 1 as this makes my confidence in its durabilty and "bomb-proofness" lower. A leaky waterbottle is no good. The rest of the issues in the review do not affect its primary function as a container to hold and safely store water over extended periods of time and distance so they have no effect on the score.
