I've blackened mine on my wood stove, then put it in a firepit to burn some carbon off. Gave it a little color but didn't warp it at all.

Decent as a cook pot or bowl. Not so decent for drinking hot coffee/tea. (slouches out too easily, at least in my hands)

A random review of the folding stove using the sierra:

ducmanI've only used mine to boil water for coffee and tea when using it on my wood stove . (I've did Knorr but not over wood)
Throwing it in the red coals of the firepit to burn the carbon off was mostly just an experiment. And I considered doing so to be abuse.
I was worried it might warp so was impressed that it came out clean with no noticeable warping.
Would it survive that kind of abuse multiple times? Honestly, I don't know.
