We expect your orders will be in transit from our warehouse by 10/14.
In the meantime, we’ll do everything we can to update you on information we receive from the vendor about your order status so you know the location of your order throughout the process.

they're no good in hard ground, and too short in soft ground.

As another person posted, these nails are awful. I tried to hammer two into my backyard ground and they bent and broke, at the eyelet, where the metal is much thinner. I had more success with the factory stakes that came with my Big Agnes Fly Creek UL2 stakes. Big bummer and feel so misled, as these are nails and suppose to be able to penetrate hard ground that a thinner aluminum stake would not.

NateNThat's the first thing I noticed when I saw this picture. The stamped eyelets. Ah well.

JaccoWI am surprised 44 people bought them. I was severely disappointed. I didn't even get to use one in the real world. My Walmart $0.76 stakes do better. I've hammered them with rocks and did not have any failures, yet, while half of these failed and I'm scared to take them with me.

You simply interlock your shelter loop with the attached loop on the stake and there will be no issue with slippage.

While I myself is a UL hiker, I don't recommend these stakes!
The aim of nail stakes is hard ground. These UL nail stakes bent and broke while using in hard ground of Negev Desert. Believe me, after first 2 that I broke I was very careful with them.
There are much stronger Vargo Nail Stakes which weigh 14gr (vs 8 of the UL), but you can take 1-2 for making holes and then insert hook pegs in that holes. This technique works! It is field-tested. Don't waste your money if you need stakes for hard ground.
Hope this was helpful.

I would buy them if they were toothpicks.
