at least they aren't that awful anodized blue or pink that titanium camping gear always is when you go to REI. That said, I've never been able to talk myself into buying anything like this. I camp with a pair of chopsticks and a wooden spoon. Neither of which I will cry any crocodile tears if the bounce out of my bag on the way back. How mad would I be if I dropped my titanium spork?
CalaverasgrandeTitanium utensils really are more of a "I really can't think of any other place to save weight .... weight a minute ... that spoon" kind of thing. They definitely aren't for practicality other than just pure weight savings. That said, you know what they say about grams, ounces and pounds ....
EverythingIsBetterOutdoorsI get it. I have pals into ultralight camping and trekking. I just can’t resist the urge to tease. Mostly because camping gear is so damn pricey! Those ultra lightlight tents and bags have quite the premium prices. And they ain’t made out of titanium. (well maybe the tent stakes).

wish there was a longer version of these utensils 8" long would be perfect for eating out of pots or Mountain House instant meal bags
bbpigI don't know if there are any drops offering them right now, but there are a plethora of long-handled ti spoons available just for eating freeze dried pouch meals. I personally pay a few (like literally one or two) bucks extra for a polished bowl that feels more like eating from a regular spoon - others don 't mind the sandy texture and save the buck.

I like that they don't have cutouts near their business ends. Allows me to worry a little less about tiny bits of remaining cheese, sauce, whatever stuck to the inside edges after I pseudo clean with a damp towel (or whatever).
Bowl size looks a bit small for my personal taste but I reckon not everyone eats like a pig like I do.

Hi there :). When I'm not busy discussing outdoor gear I'm fantasizing about my next meal. Yeah no I'm not a very fast hiker.
