Which one of the switch options is closest to Blues? I was really disappointed to not see them as an option.

TrentMyrMX Green would be closest. It's a blue switch with a heavier spring.

TrentMyrClosest in terms of clicky sound would be Cherry MX green, but they are stiffer than blue (80cN vs 50cN actuation force). Closest in terms of actuation force would be the browns, which have the tactile bump but no click. I actually just got a keyboard with MX greens (CM Storm Quickfire Rapid, also from Massdrop), and they are actually not as heavy as I thought. The "click" is also not as annoying to my ears as on other MX blue keyboards I've tried. I personally would not want to play games with the green switches (I use brown switch keyboard for that), but for typing, I'm surprisingly impressed with Quickfire.
Now a question of my own - what does it mean that this keyboard is not compatible with Mac OS X? Is it not recognized at all when connected, or does does the basic keyboard work but not any of the secondary functions (volume adjustment, etc)?

saturnotakuI'm wondering the same thing about the OS X compatibility.
saturnotakuEarlier in the discussion it was noted that OSX has issues with how N-key rollover works so we are working here and with community members on a work around, but we currently describe it as not compatible.
As it stands if you use this on OSX you'll just get a bunch of gibberish from each key. So you'll hit 'A' and get something like '@?i1j' for example.

AlexPkNKRO is more an issue with OS X than the keyboard. Unless someone can write a script or piece of software, the only workaround I can think of would be a firmware update that changes the keyboard to 6KRO.
