Can anyone who bought this the first time around let me know if this is flash-able or re-programmable in any way? I don't mind getting hacky if I have to.

Quoting SamFlynn:
" I have one of these, and I want to break the code and reprogram. Does anyone know what we are dealing with in the controller before I desolder mine to the max? I really want to write my own firmware for mine since it does not send Numpad codes, but number rows...yuk. "
&
" Nope. The problem is that the controller is very simplistic and requires a hardware rewriter in order to make changes. I tried the USB to USB converter made by Hasu, but it will not work at all. (Any Varmilo brand keyboards I have tried have the same result)
I think we're stuck... "
P.S. I have one and ran into the same issue which lead me to bookmark that thread for future drops in case people were wondering.
YourDadsHusband If you want the switch tester I prefer and recommend go here: https://www.novelkeys.xyz/shop/ He has a much wider variety and of course better prices(If you PM him through Reddit or GH he will work with you and sell you only the individual switches if you tell him about making macro pad etc). If you want to attach them to a board you can actually have a use for other than what it says in description, go here: http://www.switchtop.com/product/gamepad-macropad-pcbs Finally, he will make custom sized switch testers if you want to have them ALL in one place.
VloshkoThat second link is great for a project i've been thinking about for a while, and those switch testers look great. I might end up getting the dodecahedron just because it will be interesting to have beyond just a switch tester.
