Great entry board
This keyboard was bought to replace my g413 keyboard from logitech and one of the main reasons I bought it was to have a taste of what a custom keyboard could feel like. I didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars buying expensive parts and learning how to properly build one so this was the next best thing. I heard that this keyboard had a foam dampener and factory lubed stabilizers so I thought why not try it. The build quality of this keyboard is great, good heft and sturdy materials. The pbt keycaps have a very slight rough texture, I was expecting it to have more texture but it still feels good to touch. The lubed stabilizers remove any rattling from the spacebar, enter key , etc. Varmilo has premium products and I highly recommend this keyboard.

Very good first mech
TL;DR: It's my first mech keyboard and I am very satisfied so far. Excellent build quality, feels super solid and stable, typing experience is great. Overall, I'd recommend this, and it would have been 5 stars with true backlit caps, more stable keys and USB-C connection. Verbose version: Caps feel super good to the touch, but I would have preferred the them to have transparent letters so that LEDs light could go through the caps and make the LEDs actually useful and not just an aesthetic feature. I know I can change keycaps, but it would be ar least $50 more (I guess more to have quality analogous to the shipped ones). (Just to be clear, the keyboard is exaclty as it looked in Drop's images, so I was expecting the keys to be like that. Mine is just a note for future drops!) Brown switches are great, but I was expecting a bit more stability for the long keys (shifts, enter, backspace). Space key is super stable though. No USB-C, but USB mini, which is a bit outdated. However, the cable feels solid and durable, with a nice strap to keep it compact. For EU buyers, I spent ~€35 for customs (I had the keyboard shipped in Italy), so I spent about €145 in total, which I think it is a very good value for money.

Okay keyboard for a crazy amount of money
First the summary: Pro: types great, TKL is a handy form factor, build quality is great: feel sturdy and no flex Con: Crazy expensive for what you get if you live outside the US. Keycaps don't let any light through so you cant read your keyboard in the dark. Using more words: I have a CM Storm Quick Fire Ultimate with Cherry Brown switches. That keyboard is build like a tank, types great but takes up a lot of room. So i started looking for something smaller and found this keyboard on Drop and ordered it. As i live in the EU i have to pay duty and taxes bringing the total up to 150 euros (thats 170 US dollars). I forgot to check beforehand and Drop doesn't tell or warn you during shopping for these extra costs so i kinda screwed up there. I got the same key switches as i have on my old keyboard. The type experience is the same and awesome. I really like these switches. The TKL form factor is very compact and makes it a lot easier to use my mouse. Big plus there. As mentioned in the summary, build quality feels nice: keyboard feels hefty, sturdy and has no flex. It's not as heavy and thick as the Quick Fire but it does gets close. It doesnt have dedicated media keys but the FN as a modifier works ok. Key caps are also nice. They are a little textured but type great. No wiggling in the big keys. The problem i have is that they aren't shine through. The switches have white leds on them which just illuminate the underside of your keycaps. Looks nice but is kinda useless if you want to read the letters on your keycaps. I can type blind on letters and on a keypad but the row with numbers is gonna take some getting used to. I tried swapping the keycaps with my Quick Fire but those are a little bigger. So, i probably have to get another keycap set which will add another 50 euros. For that kind of money i could have gotten 2 Ducky one 2 Mini locally and 3 months earlier than this drop. Also, no USB C but the outdated USB Mini.
