Awesome. I can't get it to work on my home PC either (Windows 8.1). A bluetooth device CANNOT be this picky. Interestingly enough it works on my wife's laptop but not with my relatively new and high-endish (Z-97 Deluxe) motherboard's built-in bluetooth. I also plugged in 2 spare bluetooth dongles I had lying around. No go. They will detect every man and his dog that has bluetooth, but not the VB87M.
And the kicker is, as soon as it worked on my wife's laptop and I started type testing, I got the repeated key presses and delayed response issue some others have reported.
Time to contact Massdrop, very very disappointed with this purchase.
Edit: And for those who've had the non-standard space bar issue. Mine seems to be fine. I was able to put in the space bar from my newly arrived Granite set.
Another note is that I got the MX Greens and the switches are in black casing and not clear like all the pictures depict. Was a bit disappointed with that too.
Keep in mind that this keyboard only supports Bluetooth version 4.0. There are a number of computers and devices that do not support Bluetooth 4.0 (iPhone has for a long time; you mentioned that works). Many devices still use Bluetooth 3.0 or have only BT 3.0 radios in them, though I of course don't know if that's what's going on here. It's worth checking though. I know mine works on my Surface Pro 3 and iPhone 6.
It sounds like you have a defective switch/bluetooth controller contact customer service they should get it fixed
