The reconnect issue has been present, at least on windows 10 used in conjunction with Broadcom BCM20702 based bluetooth 4.0 chips, since a windows update on or around December 16, 2015. There are also issues on some "lower versions" of Windows 7 getting it to be recognized at all. Great keyboard, used daily with a charge once every other month and types beautifully, but these issues and the lack of support are not something I was expecting for something in this price range that seemed so universally loved when purchased. Maybe Massdrop could contact the manufacturer for an update on this, i.e. whether a new driver is/will be available to resolve this issue. Here are further discussions of these issues:

currancchsIf this is just an issue with that particular Broadcom Bluetooth driver, would it be possible to just find an alternative Bluetooth driver compatible with Windows 10?

AntonyFaragConfirmed. Uninstalled Window 10's native Bluetooth driver, and installed Broadcom's own driver straight from the website. Bluetooth now connects successfully every time, no need to remove and re-add.
