I've got brief, random disconnects. Also, the keyboard will not reconnect when the Mac wakes from sleep but does connect on reboot. OS X 10.11. Using a Broadcom dongle with the 20702B0 chipset.

read the second link in my previous post. there appears to be a small bug in the Mac El capitan bluetooth software. make sure handoff is turned off should help some of your problems.

That article is helpful. It looks like Apple moved or removed the preference to disable Handoff in one of the newer 10.11 betas. It's no longer in "General." Handoff is a huge benefit to being in the Apple ecosystem, so not sure I would turn it off anyway. With using a 4.0 dongle on an older Mac, plus the beta OS, there are a lot of variables here, but this bluetooth device is the only one I've had trouble with.

Mines still has random disconnects with Handoff unticked in general preference. I don't think Handoff affects the bluetooth connection of VB87M. El Capitan 10.11.3
