(d) The flag should never be used as wearing apparel, bedding, or drapery. It should never be festooned, drawn back, nor up, in folds, but always allowed to fall free. Bunting of blue, white, and red, always arranged with the blue above, the white in the middle, and the red below, should be used for covering a speaker’s desk, draping the front of the platform, and for decoration in general.
(i) The flag should never be used for advertising purposes in any manner whatsoever. It should not be embroidered on such articles as cushions or handkerchiefs and the like, printed or otherwise impressed on paper napkins or boxes or anything that is designed for temporary use and discard. Advertising signs should not be fastened to a staff or halyard from which the flag is flown.

Well, that would be theft, so definitely a crime. If you buy your own flag and want to burn it, though, that is somewhat famously protected speech under the First Amendment.

I like how you assumed I was talking about Trump, when I was talking about Modi. Way to go, asshat.

Not my cup of tea, but if they were I'd be pissed that they used "America" and "England" as labels. England is flat-out wrong, England is part of the Great Britain team in Olympic competition. America is used as shorthand for the United States of America in casual usage, but in formal naming (such as at a major international sports competition) it would never be used; it's team USA. It's also probably at least vaguely offensive to the 30-plus other countries in North and South America. Also the logo is annoyingly prominent.

I have an unrelated question, but what is the point of having the magnifying glass to look closer at the photo, if it just opens the photo in the same size? How can I look closely at the design of the mat?

Ah yes, some of my favorite Olympic sports are on display here: Knife fight, big spear poke, guy with big cross, swording. I don't really remember the Olympic games being so combat-centric.
