Folks, we did it. We made it to the big leagues.
I know I always say that I'm excited about new vendors (and it's true), but I'm honestly beyond stoked about bringing Vass to the the Massdrop community. The term 'handmade' gets thrown around a ton and is rarely used in a literal sense, but with Vass, it's exactly what they do. Even legendary shoemakers like John Lobb, Alden, and Edward Green are Goodyear welted as opposed to hand-welted.
Vass is already known for being one of the most impressively priced shoes on the market - compare to other hand-welted shoes like St. Crispin's, which start around $1500 - and I'm thrilled to offer a truly exceptional price for one of their classic designs.
For sizing, I encourage you to read though the Styleforum and Reddit threads on the topic, but here's my sizing info on some common lasts:
8.5D/E US on the Brannock 8.5D Allen Edmonds 5 last 8D Alden Barrie 7.5UK Alfred Sargent 109 7.5UK Carmina Rain 41.5 Vass F and P2 (P2 being a bit wider)
Happy to answer any questions!
