Finally got a followup from MD rep and she said that it seems my package is lost in transit (no update by DHL since in Frankfurt 15 Sep). So I asked for a refund and she did that and Paypal has notified me that it is now processing. Oh well, guess it'll be a while until I want to purchase anything from MD again.
So you got refunded and the shipping courier (most likely your local post as DHL is competent) lost your package, yet you're done purchasing from Massdrop. Seems the target of your displeasure may be incorrect here.
If you think I haven't/didn't express my displeasure directly to DHL, you're sadly mistaken. In the case of this drop, you can see I'm not the only person who hasn't received them. I'm done buying here because it's not worth it FOR ME anymore or at least for the time being. It took several emails over the course of a month for MD to respond to my situation. Of course they have to refund me or find a satisfying solution but they don't deserve a medal for that. It is after all my money, my time, and my sweat. I could've obtained these "omg so speshul" headphones from elsewhere (direct from vendor or otherwise) and in a shorter timespan and everyone is happy albeit may be slightly higher priced. My original post was about letting others who are in the same situation know and they need to escalate in order to obtain a response. I probably could've worded the post more thoughtfully in order to not offend sensitive people but I think those who are in the same situation can conclude that they need to keep on contacting MD/DHL until they get a satisfying solution. Whether others will keep on or stop buying here is their business. Please don't patronize/question me about the so-called correctness of the so-called target of my displeasure.
