Yes. Buy multiples if the shipping bothers you, it sort of OCD'd me as well so I just bought like 4 or 5 of them (last time with the reds as well as this time too). Can always give some out to friends & family and just keep a couple for yourself, though they aren't prone to breaking far as I know. Shipping directly from VE is like $5 as well so either way, definitely worth it!

I'll leave it up to you with the information from this experience of mine.
I received my first set of VE Monk Plus earbuds the day after I received my set of Massdrop X Hifiman HE-350 which is claimed to be valued at $300. The Monk Plus sounded better than the HE-350 out of the box.
I've since done some work on my HE-350's to get a better sound profile out of it and now like them better, but I can't say anything bad about the audio quality of the VE Monk Plus. It is absolutely stunning for the price. Since that first set, I've bought 3 more sets directly from VE and am in this drop for 4 more.
These things are amazing.

May I ask what you did to your HE-350? My buddy bought them and he isn't super satisfied with the fit for example.

New earpads made them much more comfortable for me. That alone makes a huge difference on the sound. I used velour HM5 pads that I picked up on Amazon some time ago. I also added a single ply of tissue paper behind the ear pads, in front of the driver and opened up some more of the vent holes in the driver plate. Where I'm at now is a somewhat V shaped signature with extra bass, but not to the point being overly bloated or unclear or overpowering the mids, slightly recessed high mids, and the highs more pronounced. Not sharp on the highs anymore. No more problems with bass extension. Overall, much better, but still not as flat as good hifi cans. Just a laid back, fun presentation that I enjoy listening to.

i also have the HE-350 and I'm not impressed at all. I'm not going to mod it because I want it original, plus my better sounding, more comfortable HD598SE's never let me down. Monks on the other hand, do sound better than the HE-350 (HE-350 are way, way, way too bright). Ordered 2 blue's with mic with x2 expansion packs
