Junk, don't buy

In the past they used to make them well. Today, any Vibram FF are poor quality and don't deserve your attention. I bought a re-run of the original FF with a velcro loop on top for over $100 last year and even that one was poorer quality than the original from 10 years ago from durability standpoint. Problems on all FF I owned: the pockets for the smallest toes are wearing out to holes within 2 or so weeks of 2-3kms at most a day; sole separating from the top (still usable, but obviously poorly made).

I ve read that they are hard to put on, but thats not true. I have mine on in seconds.

Meh, they fit only one type of foot. Its the foot used for the mold of this shoe. The toes are a pain to get into there specific spots. They are super light and compact. Which is a nice feature.

Great for the gym and for around the house. Sole really, really grips, much more so than the Gold's Gym version that I have. For size comparison, the EL-X I ordered is a size 46 and snug, I'll probably bump it up to a 47 next time. I have 2 of the Gold's Gym versions - the 47 was a bit loose, but the 46 fits like it was molded to my feet.

Superlight, so great to carry everyday in my bag as gym shoes - the slip on form factor means they take up hardly any bag space. I've also taken to wearing them at my desk, because they're just so comfortable. If I got the wrong fit it would be an issue though. I think i just lucked out that I happened to order the exact right size.

I've been wearing FiveFingers daily for about 9 years now. I own over 20 pair across a spectrum of styles. My all-time favorites for everyday wear are the KSO-EVO. The thin sole and fabric are the ultimate in comfort. The EL-X share many of my favorite features of the KSO-EVO. The biggest difference is the slip-on style vs the draw-string of the KSO-EVO. Although they do run slightly snug, they're not uncomfortably so, and I think the mildly tighter fit is a good thing. It helps them stay put without slopping around or falling off my heel. These have become my favorite pair of FiveFingers for lounging around the house, doing chores, etc. I still prefer the KSOs for everyday wear while out and about, if only because the drawstrings feel slightly more secure, but these are a close second. At this price I'd buy them again in a heartbeat.

I was worried they wouldn't fit because my feet are quite wide at the front, but it turns out they're actually just perfect. Super nice to run with, lots of response from the ground. Awesome for the gym too.
