Toby_SweMine arrived a few days ago at the depot, had to pay for import taxes though. With these busy days around Christmas time, today was the first chance I had to pick it up. I'm in the Netherlands.
Got a new battery installed by a local jeweler. The chrono buttons work now. It still runs slow. Loses half an hour per day on the shelf, less on my hand.
PhilRobertsI also ordered the blue bezel and got it with a black bezel. My chrono functions and time appear to be tracking correctly over 2 days. Could it be a counterfeit not just a miscolor? Some reviewers on Amazon that ordered the blue bezel model got black bezel ones that are clearly fake (wrong numbers, missing text, etc).
I received my watch today. The bezel isn't blue, it's black. The good news is I think that's more attractive than blue. The battery is at EOL, so the second hand is doing its' jump thing. Chrono buttons don't work, probably also related to battery EOL loss of functions.
Does anyone with a smaller wrist (around 6.3") have experience with this watch? Does it look OK or is it really too big? I am afraid it would be because of the large diameter and thick case. Any help would be appreciated!
$550 retail for a quartz? I don't know about all the watch fanatics out there, but majority of wrist watches serve as jewellery, more than a time telling device. Quartz may be reliable and low on maintenance, but isn't the whole point of getting a pricy one (which this supposedly is) to have auto or mechanical movement?
This one looks half decent, and if anyone has received theirs can add to anything I may be missing in regarding to the supposed retail price tag on this watch, feel free to share it.
GoldenmakerNoted. I've never purchased anything via Massdrop, and understand they have your back for up to 20 days and then you're relying solely on the manufacturer themselves. In this case, you're saying that the watch does come with warranty absent extra cost, thats good to know.
