I have this same watch in the black band/orange face version. I've had it for three years and it's become my favorite watch. I have seen and admired this watch in a watch and clock store in St. Louis. It's really attractive. In light of the wear features of the watch I bought, I would not expect this one to disappoint. And if it turns out that the white band dose discolor, there are several very good alternatives on the Victorinox web-site.
