HassanSFYI, my set arrived in Toronto, Canada on Tuesday.
I did a wee bit of fruit demolishment using the 6" and 8" blades this morn; both have decent feel at first use.
Some further slicing & dicing & such is showing them to be Mighty Fine to work with. I like them *very* well!
Things didn't go terribly well with the first semi-frozen bagel I went after with the bread knife, but methinks that's the semi-frozen aspect; I have high hopes for it being *way* better than the cheap whatever-it-was that I used to use.

andrew.bReally sad to see this never got answered. While emailing MD support is the easiest way to get help, if three people have had the same problem and mentioned it on the drop page there should be an official response.

Hurray! We at least have the first drop. It's a pretty decent deal at that price, and the $6 difference matters fairly little if buying the whole set of knives.
But it sure would be nice to get the further discount.

I've really needed some new knives, this'll be great if the drop makes it.
Amazon usually has good prices, but MD always has way, way sexier photos. Look at the grain on those beauties.
